Around the Block Healthcare

Around the Block Healthcare was founded by Jane and Mikey Mehl—a wife-and-husband team driven by their mission to serve individuals and families in recovery. Jane, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and Mikey, an RN and military veteran, envisioned a clinic where mental health, medical care, and substance use recovery are all connected in one trauma-informed space.

Having worked in both hospital and community settings, they knew the gaps people in recovery face: disjointed care, repeated retelling of trauma, and lack of trust in providers. They built this practice to change that.
